Black Spur Inn Restaurant

Welcome to the heart of the Black Spur Inn—our warm and welcoming Garden View Restaurant, where classic country hospitality meets fresh, regional flavours.

Relax and dine in a cosy, country setting
Whether you’re staying overnight or just passing through, our restaurant offers a relaxed and memorable dining experience. With its heritage charm and beautiful garden views, it’s the ideal place to unwind, by the fire in winter or with the sun streaming in during summer.

We’re surrounded by native forest, which makes it feel like a true escape. Many guests say it’s the kind of spot you want to linger a little longer.

Fresh, seasonal menus with something for everyone
Our chefs create seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You’ll find familiar favourites and modern bistro-style meals—from hearty mains and share plates to house-made desserts.

We also cater to dietary needs, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. And if you’re unsure what to try, our team is more than happy to help.

Wines, coffee, and a local touch
To round out your meal, enjoy coffee made from locally roasted beans or choose from our curated wine list. It features top picks from the Yarra Valley and other regional producers across Australia.

Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet getaway, our food, wine, and friendly service will leave a lasting impression.

Family-friendly and group-ready
Families are always welcome at the Black Spur Inn. We offer a dedicated children’s menu and senior discounts on meals. So, whether you’re travelling with kids or organising a special group lunch, everyone can enjoy something delicious.

Cosy, inviting, traditional. My 4-year-old ate her meal, so I think that speaks wonders on the quality of food and flavours!!!
